The Kohab Bird Feeder Kitset
Our new Kohab Bird Feeder is a platform feeder with a difference. It's a versatile, easy-clean platform for seed, fat balls, fruit or nectar.
The Kohab Feeder has been specially designed to help you support the birds you kohabit with. It’s a feeding platform that will attract a wide variety of birds, including some of those who like to feed on the ground as they will often use a platform.
A simple kitset.
At Kohab we like to keep things simple, and our kitsets are just that. They have all the bits in the box so it takes no time to put your new feeder together so you can get on with the serious business of enjoying the birds in your garden.
What’s in the box?
Wooden pieces, cut to size with tabs so that they fit together perfectly. Made from 12mm marine plywood the wood will last and last and is safe for birdlife (unlike tantalised wood)
Stainless steel nails and mounting screws that won’t rust
It really is easy.
Simply slot all the pieces together and hammer the nails into the part-drilled holes. That's it!
Easy to clean.
Because this feeder is designed to be used with a bowl of your choice it’s easy to keep clean. Simply remove the bowl and give it a wash.
Where to put it?
It can be mounted on a wall, fence or in a tree, in fact pretty much anywhere and we include 2 sturdy mounting screws to help. Make sure your feeder is close to thick shrubs or trees to give feeding birds a safe place to fly so they can feel safe while eating. And make sure it's not somewhere a cat or possum can reach.
Adding the Kohab Bird Feeder to your garden is an easy way to support and encourage your local wildlife. Soon you’ll be seeing regular visitors to your feeder and enjoying watching the magic of the creatures you kohabit your space with.
